As\u00ed que la CNBC anunci\u00f3 en junio de 2020 que United Airlines hab\u00eda planeado cerrar 3 de las 4 bases de auxiliares de vuelo internacionales ya que su demanda de viajes internacionales se hab\u00eda estrellado. Hab\u00eda 840 asistentes de vuelo que trabajan en esos 3 lugares y el memo dec\u00eda que hab\u00eda una posibilidad de transferirse a las bases de EE.UU. si eran elegibles (visa de trabajo de EE.UU.) pero inicialmente no se sab\u00eda nada de su base de Londres en el aeropuerto de Heathrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo en un arbitraje despu\u00e9s de que la Asociaci\u00f3n de Auxiliares de Vuelo desafi\u00f3 el plan de negar a los auxiliares de estas 3 bases el traslado a la base de Londres Heathrow. La decisi\u00f3n se dict\u00f3 a favor de United Airlines y los cierres est\u00e1n programados para el 1 de octubre de 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todav\u00eda existe la opci\u00f3n de que las azafatas con un visado de trabajo v\u00e1lido de EE.UU. puedan transferirse a una de las bases de asistentes de vuelo de EE.UU., pero es probable que la mayor\u00eda de los asistentes internacionales no tengan un visado de trabajo v\u00e1lido de EE.UU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>United tambi\u00e9n dar\u00e1 permiso a cerca de 7.000 azafatas de vuelo con base en los EE.UU. a finales de septiembre de 2020 una vez que la Ley CARES se agote.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uno de los mayores impactos del Coronavirus han sido los grupos de aerol\u00edneas y hoteles de todo el mundo.
