The location is quite good, it’s walking distance to most things and it has a brilliant menu for room service or dinner. The breakfast selection is quite unbeatable for Brussels and certainly worth checking out.
The Dominican is a boutique 4 star hotel part of the Carlton Hotel group and is located in central Brussels and is an exclusive member of the handpicked portfolio of Design Hotels so you can be sure their standards are fairly high.
Room Thoughts
The hotel bathrooms are really quite nice and the rain shower is a wonderful perk for travellers or if you are a little stressed opt for the bath and unwind with a nice cold Belgian beer.
The only issues I have is the beds are far far too soft and I always find it hard to get a good nights sleep, also before going to bed try and remember to turn on the A/C and turn the temperature down as it you will likely get warm during the night.
Food & Drink Options
The hotel has a pretty decent menu for dining downstairs but also for room service, I can strongly recommend the burger it’s pretty damn epic. They have a great bar area inside but during summer I can recommend relaxing outside in their courtyard over a cold Belgian beer with some friends or fellow travellers.
I’ve stayed here multiple times and last time was May 2014
