Pâtisserie Canet

Pâtisserie Canet

I visited Canet in December 2015 for breakfast when I was staying just nearby in Nice at Hostel Meyerbeer Beach. Wow this place is magical, the staff are super helpful in picking the most amazing treats and cakes. I ended up buying a box of 18 to take home and they looked so good I grabbed a few to eat here. They have a small seating area where you can try a few while you relax with a coffee, which is good if your legs are tired from walking around Nice or just want to relax for a bit.

I found this place based on a recommendation by a local and damn this place gets busy with a steady stream of locals coming in and buying bags of treats so you know it has to be good. It’s certainly not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and this place has probably the most amazing macaroons I’ve ever had. They also have a great selection of savoury and sweet options if you don’t want too much of a sugar overload. Don’t worry they also take card so you can certainly buy as much as you can carry.
