YHA Oxford

The YHA Oxford was not the best hostel I stayed at and was a little disappointed that they didn’t provide towels when booking a private room.  While I didn’t pick the hostel for anything more than a place to sleep the night I expected something better than what I experienced. The room was cold at night and the blankets were not warm enough so I ended up getting sick after spending the night here.  The windows were also not well soundproofed enough as the hostel is right by a major Oxford train station.

The hostel staff seem unmotivated to help and had more interest in having their own private conversations that helping guests.  Also this hostel was a little bit more expensive compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at and next time I’ll probably just opt for a cheap hotel room.
