As the fourth largest passenger airline in the world, American Airlines offers flights to more than 250 destinations throughout the world. American Airlines has hubs in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago/O’Hare, and New York. The airline offers flights to North America, South America, Europe and Asia. While American Airlines does not currently offer flights to Australia, it does work with partners that would allow you to use the airline for some legs of your international journey via the One World member alliance.
American Airlines offers first and business class on all flights, which include full meals, access to alcoholic beverages for free and other upgraded services. The economy class, also called coach, offers in flight entertainment and an a-la carte menu that offers paid meals. The airline also offers a frequent flyer program called AAdvantage, which provides a number of mileage benefits. The frequent flyer program is free.
