One very British event you can’t miss is happening on Sunday 23rd October where you can celebrate the fruits of Autumn with Apple Day at Borough Market. The annual celebration is held in honour of the annual Apple harvest with growers, traders and producers taking central place to share their enthusiasm for Apples.
You can expect amazing range of limited edition Apple based products such as juices, breads, pies and preserves and potentially some Apple ciders…
The market’s neighbours are also getting involved with Southwark Cathedral celebrating with an act of harvest worship and of course the famous Market’s Choir. There will also be a chance to donate to Robes Project which providers winter night shelters for homeless in South London.
So if you want to experience a wonderful day of activities focused on celebrating the rich heritage of the British Harvest you can’t miss Apple Day 2016.
