Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre

Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre review

We picked Hampton by Hilton Belfast hotel as a get away spot for our Christmas present to ourselves, I also picked it for it’s close location to Great Victoria Street train station. I did forget to check that the Enterprise train from Dublin stops at Lanyon Place Station but still was only a 20 minute walk or about £7 in an uber but it was much closer than the Holiday Inn Express we stayed in last time we visited Belfast. The location was perfect in terms of walking distance to town for restaurants and a bit of sightseeing of some great Street Art Murals around Cathedral Quarter.

The staff were warm and welcoming and reminded us to get in for breakfast before 9am to beat the rush! The rooms were a good size and there was a spare sofa bed if you have kids and don’t want to pay for an extra room or you snore and need your own bed…. The bathroom was a decent size with lovely soft towels and there was enough space on the toilet that you didn’t feel squished in as can often happy with inner city hotels.

Breakfast was seriously good and made sure we were set the next day for the morning activities with Paddy Campbell’s Belfast Famous Black Cab Tours before our afternoon train back to Dublin. If you are looking for a lovely spot for dinner when in town we loved Shu Restaurant also you must try their bread!
